I almost hit this dog on I-64 East near the Caseyville exit. Thank God, I was able to get him to trust me and into my car. He is currently at the St Clair County animal shelter. Very sweet boy

For everyone's safety, meet in a public place and never send money to strangers to recover a pet. Verify anyone who claims a pet before arranging a meeting.
