Duck Update

Duck Update!! 🦆 🦆 **Thank you to Sue Callahan Davis the two little ducks are safe and sound! So thankful to have such amazing community members willing to jump out of bed at 11:00pm to save those who need it the most. Thank you x1000** Does anyone know of a local rescue that helps domestic ducks? I came across these two ducks at Belvedere Park in Waukegan, IL, and they appear to be domestic ducks rather than wild ducks. I’m concerned they may have been abandoned, especially with the colder weather approaching. From what I understand, domestic ducks aren’t always equipped to survive in the wild on their own. Does anyone know of a rescue, organization, or someone experienced with domestic ducks who could help? Last seen walking into the Health Department @ 9pm on 10/17. Already notified WAC!
