Jackson must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER by WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21ST at 10AM. 🚨🆘🆘🚨🆘🆘🆘🚨🆘🆘🆘🚨🆘🆘🚨 Meet Jackson! This fun-loving young pittie pup was found abandoned in an alleyway on 10/18. Jackson is seriously goofy, incredibly cuddly, and unabashedly obsessed with other dogs. While he has a little puppy shyness at first, this quickly abates in favor of his customary exuberant greeting where he covers you in kisses. He loves to play with stuffed animals, and he’s shown that he is eager to please and a super-fast learner - especially when tasty treats are in play. When ACCT’s Animal Protection Officers first picked Jackson up, they found that he had serious injuries to his genital region. A triage examination at the shelter found that Jackson is suffering from chronic traumatic avulsion of the prepuce and scrotum, meaning they have been partially detached or torn from his torso.. With Jackson’s optimistic and A vet exam on 10/18 noted “chronic, traumatic avulsion of the entire prepuce and scrotum w/ areas of scar tissue and granulation tissue. Entirety of penis is exposed, excoriated and hanging more caudal than expected due to lack of prepuce... unknown etiology. Changing status to rescue only w/ urgent promotion for expedited exit within the next 48 hours. Dog will need reconstructive surgery, likely w/ a boarded surgeon.” PLEDGE TO INCENTIVIZE A RESCUE TO SAVE ~~~DONATIONS are TAX DEDUCTABLE~~~ TO PLEDGE: Just click on the link below Put Jackson ACCT-A-265170 followed by their ACCT ID Number.
