Every single kennel is full, so our adoptable dogs are staying wherever we can safely make space for them

Every ACC location is extremely overcrowded. Every single kennel is full, so our adoptable dogs are staying wherever we can safely make space for them, including hallways, staff offices, grooming rooms, and other areas in the shelter. We obviously don’t think a pop-up crate is an ideal place for any dog to spend their time, and we don’t want these dogs staying in temporary spaces any longer than they have to. That’s why we have our special pop-up crate promotion to help these dogs get out of the shelter and into loving homes! Dogs staying in pop-up crates have waived adoption fees, and their adopters will also receive a $50 Chewy gift card! When you adopt one, you’re not only changing their life, you’re also helping us make room for the next dog who needs a safe place to land. Visit to meet all of our amazing adoptable dogs. All pop-up crate dogs will have a special sign in their profile picture. Please share this post to help these pups get seen! #nycacc #boroughbred #ManhattanACC #QueensACC #StatenIslandACC
