Foster home or forever home

Foster home or forever home 11/3.... deadline If you're looking for an Oreo cookie colored hunk who’s equal parts Einstein and ultimate cuddle bug... Junior is calling your name! ⏰ Adopt by Nov 3 He's got the brains, the looks, and the love, but he’s currently on the priority medical list for a lingering shelter cough (CIRDC) and needs an adopter or foster lined up by November 3rd before his clock runs out on November 4th! Junior spent a month and a half in a home before intake, so his resume is already STACKED with rockstar qualities: 🍪 He doesn't just know his name - he knows "Sit," "Lay Down," "Shake" / "Paw," "All Done," and is currently learning "Stay!" 🍪 He lived with kids (ages 7 to 16) and was super friendly, playful, and affectionate! (He gets a little excited and might jump up to say "I love you," but he's super eager to please). 🍪 He is 100% house-trained, crate-trained, and lived with a large dog who he got along with amazingly well! 🍪 In the play yard, he’ll ignore all the shelter noise, walk right up to you, and lean his entire side and back into your legs for endless pets. He’s also a big fan of squeaky toys and zoomies! 🕵️‍♂️ Keeping It 100% Honest (Where He Struggles & Room for Growth): 🍪 With that Border Collie brain and Pit Bull appetite, Junior will check your kitchen counters for snacks if you leave food unattended! He’s a young pup who just needs a little consistent in-home boundary training. 🍪 His previous family had a cat who ran, and Junior treated it like a fun game of chase. A cat-free home or very slow, supervised intros are recommended. 🍪 Loud, chaotic environments make him a bit nervous and shaky at first, and he’ll bark if strangers catch him off guard. He just needs a patient "Go Slow" transition home. Junior is a gentle, smart, sweet 1-year-old pup who just wants to show off his trick roster, lean into your lap, and be your forever best friend. If you can save this brilliant, cuddly boy before November 3rd, please run to MCACC West to adopt him! #A5172065 JUNIOR White/Black American Pit Bull Terrier / Border Collie Mix Age/Sex: 1 Year / Neutered Male Weight: 47.2 lbs Kennel Location: West Kennel, Wing C - 068 (Phoenix, AZ) Location: MCACC West Valley Animal Care Center Address: 2500 S 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ th Ave/Lower Buckeye) •Phone: (Adoption Hours: 11 am - 7 pm for adoption services every single day #Adoptable #AdoptMe #Junior #AZ #phoenix #azdogs #arizona #adopt
